HKC's RF Expander will solve any issues with range. Unlike typical mesh technology the Expander will act as a range extender without depleting detector batteries.
We have developed an intelligent wired and wireless expander architecture for bigger properites where range is an issue.
The RF Expander connects to the panel (SW 10270) and acts as a range extender to allow communication to end devices within the building or even in seperate buildings.
The RF Expander can connect wirelessly or can be wired directly to the panel. A system can have a maximum of 4 wireless hops to end devices i.e. 3 RF Expanders plus the end device. There is no limitation if the Expanders are wired. The number of RF Expanders is limited to 15
