HKC's Installer and Alarm User Apps are excellent solutions for property owners, managers, and professional installers who wish to manage their security remotely. Both Apps are easy to use and simplify many tasks.

The HKC SecureComm App, developed and managed by our in house Team, allows complete control of the Intruder System from any location. Arm / Disarm, turn lights and heating on or off, open gates or simply check the Event Log to see the alarm history.

Once connected to the SecureComm Cloud installers' can carry out remote maintenance, system diagnostics, and change device settings without leaving the office. Connectivity is acheived using any of HKC's three IP Communicator Modules.

SmartLink 700 Remote Software (SL700) facilitates full Upload & Download, and also allows the installer to manage devices remotely, upgrade panels and detectors and build a recurring revenue database to increase the value of their business. The software can be used on desktop or via the free HKC Engineer App

Using HKC connected device technology it is now possible to add in features such as gate control, lights, heating and also view cctv.

Eliminate RF Range Issues

HKC have developed an intelligent wired and wireless expander architecture for larger properties where range maybe an issue.

The RF Expander connects to the panel (SW 10270) and acts as a range extender to allow communication to end devices within the building or even in separate buildings.

The RF Expander can connect wirelessly or can be wired directly to the panel. A system can have a maximum of 4 wireless hops to end devices i.e. 3 RF Expanders plus the end device. Up to 15 Wired Expanders can be connected to the system

Types of protection available and detector function

HKC manufacture a complete range of intrusion devices that detect attempted or actual intrusion. Devices typically fall into two categories – Perimeter such as Contact or Shock sensors which detect attempted or forced entry on a door or window and Trap Protection such as PIR which will detect the presence of an intruder

Perimeter Protection is where a building is protected with devices located on external doors and windows

Trap Protection. This type of protection comprises devices internal to the building such as motion detectors and is more suitable to a building which is unoccupied while the system is armed”

The ideal protection is a combination of both whereby the perimeter of the property is protected to ensure early detection and warning of intrusion attempts.
